Thong Hoe, Singapore is geographically located at latitude 1° 25' 4" North of the Equator and longitude 103° 42' 7" East of the Prime Meridian on the Map of Singapore. The old Namazie Estate was a rubber plantation. It has been converted to a protected military excercise area. On 28 January 1942 the area was involved in the heavy fighting between the Australian Forces and the invading Japanese Forces.
